Papas aliñás (dressed potatoes)
Despite the fact that the recipe may slightly vary from establishment to establishment, they all have something in common… vinegar! If you like it, then you’re going to love this tapa.
We have tried them at Bodeguita Romero, a restaurant with more than 70 years of history.
Mantecaíto
Also, as you can see, it looks quite appetizing… It’s a delight! If you find it, don’t miss the chance to eat it. We’re sure you’ll love it. If you want to try this one, you should go to Quoore.
Spinach with chickpeas
In my opinion, you will find one of the best spinach with chickpeas tapas of the city at Típico Bar de Tapas.
Even though it had too much paprika, the dish was exquisite. If you’re near Triana, you should try it.
Pringá
Although the recipe admits certain variations, my favorite pringá has shredded meat, black pudding and a little of lard. Perfect for dieters!
If you want to try it, you should go to Bodeguita Romero as it’s their specialty.
Oxtail
As it’s one of our favorite dishes, whenever we see it on a menu, we order it. In Bar Salomón, Rey de los Pinchitos you can find a rather generous and very very nice oxtail tapa.
Serranito
Although it may look like a tapa… It’s a huge dish! We share one in Mesones del Serranito and we ended up more than satisfied. Totally recommendable!
Brochettes
If you want to try the best in Seville, no matter who you ask, everyone will answer the same… You have to go to Bar Salomón, Rey de los Pinchitos! Even though it’s not in the city center, it’s worth getting close just to try their star dish… the brochettes!
As you can see, the gastronomy of Seville is very varied and although, in this post, I have showed you many traditional dishes, there are still many to name. There are so many that it is very difficult to taste them all in a few days. Therefore, trying them all is always a good excuse to come back to the city. If you’re still wondering… what to eat in Seville? These are the dishes you can’t miss… But you should keep in mind that there are many more!
